    Features and Applications

    Zirconium-aluminium Getter is made by compressing alloys of zirconium with aluminium into a metallic container or coating the alloys on metallic strip. The getter can be used together with Evaporable Getter to improve gettering performance. It also can be used in the devices that Evaporable Getter is not allowed. This product is in three shapes----ring, strip and DF tablet and the strip getter is produced by advanced base strip technology, which has much better sorption performance than the getter produced by direct rolling. Zirconium-aluminium Getter is in wide use in vacuum electronic devices and electric lighting products.

    Suggested Activation Condition

    Zirconium-aluminium Getter can be activated by heating with high frequency inductive loop, thermal radiation or other methods. Our suggested activation conditions are 900℃ * 30s,and maximal initial pressure 1Pa.

    Caution

    The environment to store getter shall be dry and clean, and relative humidity lower than 75%,and temperature lower than 35℃,and no corrosive gases. Once the original packing has been opened, getter shall be used up soon and usually it shall not be exposed to the ambient atmosphere more than 24 hours. Prolonged storage of getter after the original packing has been opened shall be always in containers under vacuum or in a dry atmosphere.
