Features and Applications |
Evaporable nitrogen-doped Getter is produced by compressing nitrogen-doped alloys of Barium, Aluminium with Nickel. Due to the nitrogen, the Barium on the screen can be remarkably reduced so as to guaranty the brightness of the screen. The getter is usually applied in B/W picture tubes and monochromatic monitor tubes.

Caution |
The environment to store getter shall be dry and clean, and relative humidity lower than 75%, and temperature lower than 35℃, and no corrosive gases. Once the original packing has been opened, getter shall be used up soon and usually it shall not be exposed to the ambient atmosphere more than 24 hours. Prolonged storage of getter after the original packing has been opened shall be always in containers under vacuum or in a dry atmosphere。
